When InBrace asked for a website refresh, I spent extra time building a UI kit. It was vital that it included all versions of commonly used components and was quickly updated to any variable simultaneously throughout the website.
Components are the most interesting part of Figma because they allow you to make changes quickly as you receive client feedback. However, I do not see other UI designers doing this. I found that nesting copy components inside other components allow for the most flexible experience in Figma, making copy/icon changes faster.
